Privacy Policy

We use the details you send through this website to reply to your request and prepare a quote. We do not sell your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, who receives it and the rights you have under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

Dubai Engineering Approvals is part of the Al Mujassam network and is operated by Al Mujassam Architects and Engineers LLC, a company in mainland Dubai. Form details: when you send one of our forms, we receive the service and area you choose, your message, your name, your phone number and your email address. The cost calculator runs in your browser and sends us nothing unless you then send a form.

Page and campaign details: the page you sent the form from, the first page you opened on this site in that browser session, the address of the site that sent you here (if your browser shares it), and any UTM campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content). We do not collect advertising click IDs such as gclid or fbclid.

Technical details: your IP address, which our server uses to limit how often one address can send the form and which is passed to Cloudflare Turnstile for the bot check. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type).

We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, third-party fonts or third-party map services on this site.

Replying to your request and preparing a quote or proposal: these are steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, which PDPL Article 4 allows without separate consent. The page and campaign details are sent with your request and are used on the same basis, to understand which page and campaign the request came from.

Preparing and filing your approval: once you instruct us, we use your project details to prepare the drawings and documents and to submit them to the authority your project needs.

Keeping the forms secure: the bot check and the rate limit protect the forms from automated abuse and spam, so that genuine requests reach us.

If we ever want to use your details for something else, such as marketing emails, we will ask for your consent first.

Your request is sent to our team by email and stored in our CRM. To do that we use service providers: Cloudflare (Turnstile bot check), Hostinger (website hosting and server logs) and our email and CRM providers. They process the data only to provide their service to us.

We may share project information with the relevant government authority (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, DDA, Trakhees, JAFZA, or RTA, as applicable) only where necessary to process your specific approval.

If your project is handled by Al Mujassam Architects and Engineers LLC, the Al Mujassam network company that operates this site, your request is shared with its team for that purpose.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we disclose it to authorities only where your approval needs it or UAE law requires it.

Some of our providers, including Cloudflare, Hostinger and our email and CRM providers, may store or process data on servers outside the UAE. Under PDPL Article 22 data may go to a country whose data protection law gives adequate protection. Where that is not the case, PDPL Article 23 allows the transfer when it is needed to carry out your request or when you have expressly agreed to it. We use providers that commit to protecting the data they handle for us.

We keep personal data only as long as the purpose needs it (PDPL Article 5). Enquiries that do not become a project are deleted or anonymised 24 months after our last contact with you. If your enquiry becomes a project, the data is kept for the length of the project agreement and any period UAE law requires after it.

The rate-limit record of your IP address is held only in the server's memory and expires after 10 minutes. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own terms.

The site runs only over HTTPS, access to enquiries is limited to the people who handle them, and the forms are protected by a bot check and a rate limit (PDPL Article 5).

If a breach affects your personal data, we will report it to the UAE Data Office and inform you, as PDPL Article 9 requires.

You can ask us for information about the personal data we hold about you and how we use it (PDPL Article 13).

You can ask for a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format, or for it to be sent to another organisation (Article 14).

You can ask us to correct inaccurate data or to erase data we no longer need or should not hold (Article 15).

You can ask us to restrict how we use your data, for example while we check a correction you asked for (Article 16).

You can ask us to stop processing your data, including for any direct marketing (Article 17).

You can object to decisions made only by automated processing that affect you (Article 18). We do not make any such decisions.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time (Article 6). This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, email info@dubaiengineeringapprovals.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office (Article 24).

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no local storage. When you open a page, our form script saves one item in your browser's session storage, called bsd-attribution: the address of the referring site, the first page you opened and any UTM tags. It stays in your browser, is sent to us only if you submit a form, and is deleted when you close the tab.

The Cloudflare Turnstile bot check loads from challenges.cloudflare.com when you start filling in a form and runs in its own frame. Any data it stores there is controlled by Cloudflare under its Turnstile privacy terms.

This site is for property owners, contractors and businesses that need engineering approvals in Dubai. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We update this policy when what we do with personal data changes. The current version is always on this page.
